Start at the Phase 2 promenade entrance by the car park. The path is 4 m wide and buggy-friendly the whole way.
≈ 0.6 kmHead north with the sea on your right. Benches every 400 m and lighting every 25 m — this loop works after dark.
≈ 1.2 kmPlayground at 900 m. If you have kids with you, this is where the walk ends for twenty minutes.
≈ 1.8 kmThe promenade curves inland at 1.6 km through the landscaped section — the softest surface on the route and the only shade.
≈ 2.4 kmWater fountain and toilets at 2.1 km, the halfway mark. Both are actually maintained, which is not a given.
≈ 3.0 kmRejoin the seafront at 2.8 km for the sunset stretch. Facing west from here to 3.6 km — this is why people come.
≈ 3.6 kmFinal 600 m back to the car park along the lit avenue. Total 4.2 km, about 50 minutes at a conversational pace.
