Two years of Sunday reef loops to get here. 100 km of open water, one 3.8K at a time.
Legs felt springy the whole way. Held marathon pace to 24K then let it roll. New half PR on the way through.
The national stadium has a schools meet on Tuesday, so we're shifting the session 24 hours. Same time, same place: Galolhu track, 20:00. Session is 12×400m at 5K pace off 90 seconds — bring a bottle, it's still 30°C at eight o'clock.
Threshold work on the lower slopes. 2 climbs, both PRs. Girona delivering as always.
Above the fog line at 700 m. You climb for an hour in grey soup and then the whole valley just… disappears underneath you. Four shots, no filter, none of them do it justice.

Six out, six back, nobody dropped. Two laps of the ring road to warm up then straight out to the airport causeway for the through-and-off. Rasheed did most of the work on the front, as usual.

Tom's 88th different parkrun course and his fastest since March. Went out at 3:35/km, which he described afterwards as "a decision".
